yeah you can take f connector off, coax will be central wire with plastic sheath, then braided wire around it

i would also be thinking of using some sort of shrink wrap to seal moisture out before you bury it again and hopefully tested

Seal it with amalgamating tape that will make it good.

they are in the area today,i told him
to look out for it ,dont think its going
to be that much of a problem once i
locate it ? but i dont think i'll let them
repair it .tbh i think its only coax with
no protection so could be easily done
will let you know the outcome

So Virmin run fiberoptic into the green boxres in the road, that are protected by tramac and concrete - then into your garden when people slice shovel througfh them - yeah sure they do.

Flick a match at see, see what toxic fumes come off it (why vermin have the boxres out houses)

                        GOT TO GO

                        Bye.

just opened small box on outside wall, the wire is split ,the small one bare wires (phone),unscrewed other ,its coax,.so i presume i can split wire ive dug up ,split it and join new coax.then feed it into house bypassing small box? not in any hurry only back-up box

no need to bypass box just join your cable together where damaged

                            use something like this
                            Attached Files

apears your going to an awfull lot of trouble for something that wasnt your fault. if it was working before the workmen dug holes then it doesnt take a detective to work out its down to them to fix it get on there case and make them repair it
