av tried the box at a mates house alex123 but still no connection, good call tho about taking it to a pc repair shop, Obvious when you think about it and could be pennys instead ov the price ov a new box or a iconnector, cheers for the advice al try asap

You can load it but it wont work.

It works perfecty well if you do it properly as the underlying hardware is nearly identical. I dont particularly recommend it though as Iconnectors are both scarce and costly.

Yes i did the same on mine and it worked. Iconnector is your best bet.
