No Network ID when scanning

hello any one, am still having Net Id problem in the oxford area there have been a few post on this.....please help as any body in the oxford area managed to find an answer? i have check on the vm local faulth which seem to have all been fixed, my vm box is working fine but kv no joy?????? once again any help will be much appreciated

Try powering off the box for 10 seconds after a factory reset, that usually does the trick for me.

i have tried the powering down for 10 sec after factory reset but still no joy. Cactikid how do i go about checking if my Net id as change by Vm and how do i fixed it please?

vm have changed network id to ip address

VM HAVE CHANGED THE NETWORK ID TO A IP ADRESS FOR TVO THATS WHY YOU CANT GET A N/WORK ID ...

somebody else got their new netid by scanning and they have a tvo also and kv is working.

i have been trying factory reset and scan endless with no luck.....can you please suggest another options

how many net ids have you tried /also what is the date of firmware on box?

my box say( 26/04/2012. H/W version v3.0.0, pv4.1.01. i have also perform a s/w update and it say already updated. i have gone as far back to reinstalling and reflashing the box. am not getting any Netid from any of the provider.....badger23 mention the vm ip change but he doesnt explain how to reslove the problem?...thanks for all your respond at the moment

if your signal is too low you may not get a signal strong enough to pick up a net id,you are scanning from main strong coaxial feed and no splitters,any numbers with a net id?

Had a look for a NetID for Oxford can't find any, the nearest to Oxford I can find is Hemel Hempstead ID- 00017 on NTL.
Thats not to say NTL is still the provider for Oxford

net id on the vm box in techstuff is just 20 and am scaning with the spliter removed, befor the problem i was using chorus not ntl to pick up oxford....i have since then tryed scaning under all the other provider but all i get now is already exist my signal strenght is 77
