It appears to be a very 'lite' update only changing the default server address. You'll probably not notice any operational difference at this time although the release of the update may mean the original server address may become invalid at some point in the future.
If your having difficulty upgrading, then forget it for the moment until you've worked out how things should be connected for proper operation.
btw, cant say i've actually had a problem with the superhub functionality in the last 18 months. I usually prefer to use my own router (ddwrt) due to a complex setup but when i've switched back to superhub mode for tests its worked just fine.
