I doubt its anything to do with the browser, once the rar file is downloaded its in the docs of his computer and accessable without any browser programme. If anything it could be the operating system but I'm sure I used it back in the day of XP. (couldn't afford Pro so gould have been any other).
Where abouts in the country does raj reside. may be local to some good hearted gent like myself.
I tried it on my old pc with XP Pro SP3, and also on a laptop with XP Home SP3. Worked fine on both.
I have had problems in the past downloading some zip files with IE9, but the files were corrupted & wouldn't open at all, so I don't think it's a browser problem.
On the other hand it wouldn't do any harm to try another browser.
It's strange that this appears to be a unique problem, yet it has occured on 2 computers that Raj3sh has tried?
The main box firmware should automatically load the appropriate firmware to the Iconnector. Attempting to load things to the Iconnector manually could easily lead to mismatch between the Iconnector and the stb although, in most cases, the stb will simply reflash the Iconnector with the proper version.
Regarding the Instructions previously given about how to flash firmware onto I-conn:
Connect to computer with rs232 Null modem cable.
1. Run Loader
2. Open and select Software
3. Select correct Port
4. Hit Start
I just thought I'd ask? Do you definitely NOT have an Internet connection connected to the I-conn. whist trying tio flash firmware onto the I-conn......... or do you?

The main box software will auto update the Iconn with the appropriate firmware as long as the Iconn is functioning correctly. The software and Iconn loader are for recovering Iconns showing only the power light or in other words the firmware has gone corrupt. It loads the original firmware.
