Help needed confused

Hello, had my kryptview working properly for a good few years other than when it goes off or glitches, but never a problem like this

Channels 1 - 5 are not even working, scrambled etc etc

I have updated it. reset it to its factory settings, scanned, and when you reset it to its factory settings and scan again, you have to choose your List of network ID, well that keeps coming up as 'already exist' even though ive reset it to factory settings.

It scans for the channels, says signal strength between 60-88
the TP is scanning, but no channels come up as being found, and says Complete Exit.

Ive checked my box everything is in the right place no loose cables nothing

confused, any help would be appreciated

When u say updated m8 have u reflashed with the latest f/w and have u got it on network scan..................

never had to flash it, even when i got it, ive just went to installation, s/w update... then automatch search, network, and start search

if i have to flash it, i wouldnt have a clue how

I'm having same problems with the "already exists routine" and I've reflashed firmware,I've factory reset updated online firmware and I'm only getting 8 tps coming up,cable service status says good, I've tried scanning other providers but nothing works,any more ideas would grateful

Well i dont know about definitely m8 but lost all mine friday reflashed it all good, had about 7 already exists...............

Just adding to what I already said,I had an old eurovox upstairs and the free channels have gone tried rescanning that but won't pick up tps either thought its probably vm end,but I still get internet so presume cable is ok,is it a case wait and see if tps come back

Couldnt tell ya m8 your guess is as good as mine i dont have a eurovox i dont know tbh....................


Thers also a new online s/w update for the a780 came out about monday i think..................

Yeh I've installed latest s/w update m8, still keeps saying already exists done it loads of times but it won't have it, think it must be Problem vm end or they have cut my signal

Just ordered the null cable modems from ebay, so will give it a go when they arrive, hope it works, very frustrating as ive never had to flash it before.

if it only picks up 8 tps then you have no signal. does it show the network id as it wont with no signal

No m8 can't get network Id,I'm pretty sure they have lowered my connection even though I still get wifi

I take it you have VM Broadband. Do you have a VM tv box?

It is possible for the BB signal to be OK and the TV signal to be faulty or on low power from the green box.

Yeh understand what your saying but I've had boxes for last 7 yrs and this is first time,don't have vm box but again not had 1 for yrs,seen a post somewhere where the lad had same prob and came back on,so maybe vm fault ,meantime need to think of options because the silence is sending me mad,at this rate i might break rules and go legit ( heaven forbid )
