Help needed confused

    is your vm bb close to you box.
    if so why dont you turn off the power to your modem and disconnect the signal feed to the modem and plug the feed into your box then you will no for sure..
    we have repaired kvs with no signal issues before caused by a faulty tuner.
    im not saying it will be the cause but it could be

      yeh i have tried still no joy just won't pick up net Id keeps saying same old bollox"already exists"it does seem to me that they have dropped my signal,

        I presume when id net already exsits appears, you click on your correct id for your location

            take it round a friend or family members house and try it there i would have thought if your bb is working the signal should be able to pick up the network id but if you take it to another house at least you will no for sure

                  hello i am still having trouble with this, here is what happens, ive downloaded the flash program which was linked on here, and the bin file, when i go to click start this pops up

                  cannot open serial com port 1
                  please check if the com port has the following parameters
                  baudrate 115200 bps
                  parity no parity
                  databyte - 8bit data
                  stop bit 1

                  i am using null cables to try this out, my laptop is wifi would i need a ether net from the bb modem to my laptop

                    change com port 1 to another com port ,ie com port 2 com port 3 etc until ones accepted

                      So nothing to do with my laptop using wifi and not needing ethernet to box to bb, then ethernet to laptop to bb?
