Kryptview Stuttering and freezing

HI , Any hardware help would be great appreciated, I have aA780 and it freezes and is digitizes the picture ?? tried another box and it works fine , so the Signal is good. when i searched for new channels, the signal bar strength drops off completely and reappears if that helps ?

Im handy with a soldering iron if its Crystal or Diode needing changed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what firmware is on box and have you scanned on correct net id,any outside area issues as it sounds like signal issues.

also check splitters as they can go faulty.

hi , ok then. i can swap with another box, the other box works fine without freezing , the software on this a780, sw 4.1.04 -

the channel 32 works - but still freezes, ( however it can jump to another channel and have no signal at all , is this normal)

could it be hardware and the tuner , you think ? worth noting when searching for channels , the signal drops to zero every 5/7 secs or so the goes back to 70

firmware too old needs updating by null modem cable.
