so let me get this right, if i brought a 02 dongle or something similar and then purchased the edimax 3g router and connected the dongle to the router i wouldnt have to use my virmin net?

Don't know but i get the feeling the data now updates every 6 seconds could be less just try pulling your Ethernet lead out the back see how long it stays on till it requests new data,

Got my Edimax 3G-6200N b8t 8mths ago from ebuyer
Just checked and price is still ?42.63.
Regards data usage i bought a payg sim with 1gb data already loaded for ?4.99 from argos which i been using for over week
