Got Kryptview box today but cant get channels

    if no lappy to check homeplugs working try at pc with one in rouer and other into pc

      Day 2 now , just got a new ethernet cable but still no luck , am I doing something wrong ive downloaded the firmware connected everything up the box scans but only shows the free channels BBC , ITV , Five etc , its stressing me out

        are you saying you have run new ethernet cable from router to back of box(lan port)and still no joy?

            Im just nipping out to buy a long length of ethernet cable to run it directly from the back of my router and by pass the home plug , fingers crossed it might be the home plug

                  There are 2 home plugs in the box do they both have to be plugged in to work properley

                    that is probably your problem
                    the homeplugs work by using the ring mains
                    ie all your downstairs sockets are wired one after another...
                    your upstairs sockets will probably be on a diffrent circuit..
                    therefore no connection.....

                      well if you got lappy plug one homeplug into router and other one in a socket beside box and run ethernet lead to lappy switching wireless conection off and see what ip you get or if it connects to net

                          Got it sorted at last I didn't have both home plugs set up correctly , got to say thanks to the people on here who have helped me get this sorted as id of been stuck without you

                                when you scan, thebox automatically sorts the channels into cats
                                if you want to look for a channel alphabetically.
                                press the white button.
                                then select the first letter of the channel yyou are looking for....
