    but you laptop worked, which suggests your homeplugs are setup correctly....
    when you plug homeplug cable into box.
    what do the yellow/green leds do at ethernet socket?

        that means you are not getting an iternet signal. they are indicator leds.
        green light- should stay solid
        yellow light-shuld flash intermittantly when receiving data

        are you sure you laptop worked and wasnt connected wirelessly?

        you will have the same led indactors on your laptop,
        test it again and see if they light

          i changed the ethenet wire aswell and am currently connected to it by my laptop and i am getting a green solid light for the laptop three infact and getting one flasshing one. i dont get this when i am connected to the box

              i have no clue how do i check that? its the fact on the homeplugs i dnt get 4 green lights one flashing and i do when am connected via laptop

                if your laptop is working through your homeplugs, then we have established that your homeplugs are working and internet is available at your box.
                the fact that your indicator led's are doing nuthin when you plug in your homeplug..
                makes me think something is wrong or has come loose in the box...

                  disconnnect your box from cable feed.
                  put it next to your router and connect it using an ethernet cable.
                  power box on and see if status leds do anything....

                    hmm dunno how do i find out? by the way the homeplugs arent connected to a splitter but the the kryptview wire is connected to a splitter

                          doesnt matter ,
                          you dont need the cable feed plugged in to test your ethernet port.
                          disconnect the vermin cable,
                          the only connections you need just now is poer and ethernet...

                            i've got the same sort of problem sorted my box last night with a lot of help and patience from barrowmanandrew, i get bbc1,2,3 itv1,ch4 and ch5 useing homeplug, solid green, flashing amber, on back of box same when plugged into laptop its a f***ing mystery.

                              post back what happens
