KRYPTVIEW A780 BOXES ARE THEY CRAP OR WHAT

Hi all, here in Barry,s.wales, boxes like v/media(ntl) and eurovox,which ive got, av all gone dwn too,ive flashed my box and several others but still no joy. Boxes with cards are being "tested" and are being trialed b4 being returned to their owners. So it looks like free tv is on hold for a while.....unless u no any different????

Oh we do but its not free, just discounted.

No it was an A750 problem.

Swapped it for a 780 and ok now.

mybe at moment or ure servers back up, what area are u in ?as my 780 still has lost channels

your lucky adrift i've had mine 4 about 2 weeks and i've had no channels 2 lose i get bbc,itv ch4,ch5 and all radio stations and thats it, i've got no splitters, use a homeplug, and signals are from 77 to 89 its getting on my f***ing nerves now dealers said i can send it back, but they reckon theres nothing wrong with it so where the f*** are my channels then?

appreciate your post mate but really wrong section, i would imagine that your home plugs are the problem not the box , the problem in this post is a server prob been discussed ,but try hardwireing your box ,gdlk

I see your using homeplugs which are a great thing, I use them myself. However, last night I set a box up for a mate, checking the homeplugs beforehand. Wouldn't work in his conservatory. Tried in another room and they worked perfect.

I think the wiring in the conservatory is possible on a separate main or maybe lacking a good earth.

See if you can get hold of a long ethernet cable to try without the homeplugs. 20 metres less than a fiver on fleabay

I'm in Bolton and come under Manchester 1 or 2. Still have some channels missing but only a few and not the main ones.

Got the 750 fired up again. It seemd to have lost its ability to communicate with the iconnector. Reflashed and all is ok now.

Ok all these posts were making me paranoid so just done a check on what I am missing and I can confirm that in wolverhampton 1.
I am only missing bravo+1 and true movies.
As far as I can tell all other channels including the ones mentioned in other posts are working.

dont panick mate , i also beleive/hope channels will come back up , my major problem is how often we are going to go through this and how many channels are we going to loose every time it happens ,and how long we wait to get it fixed .
