thanks for the help so far - that link was bang on and i now have a downloader :0)

but i now seem to have the same problem as i have seen on this thread time and time again which is " the downloading is not requested" I have tried 3 diferent ports 3/4/and 7 and changed it in the loader each time - getting a step closer but still no goal

          many thanks

                  loss of channels

cheers for that but i had the 29/12/08 fix on and found that some channels were missing although there was no freezing with that fix. Tried re-scanning but no good. Will see tonight if it's fixed

hope it has all worked for you as it has for me m8

i would advise that you check other treads as i have done to sort out yur channels cuz it seems like you have done the hard work and it is just a case of reseting your tp's for your area - i feel sure someone will be able to talk you through that

Good luck and u are in the right place for this type of help

                        Hi there,

I disagree with the vista comment. I'm using vista home premium and had no problems.

I had a kryptview box arrive yesterday and i had it set up within 30 mins.

Tell me what is going wrong and i will try and help

                        Yannos.

                          Hi
just keep going at it and reading the info in this thread i feel sure you will crack it - it cant be vista because i am using it so it has to be something simple like i was doing ( i missed the "press red button twice statement" and was only pressing it once) something as simple as that after 4 hrs of trying can create a host of problems. have a beer and read this thread again and you may just spot something you have missed the first time round.

Good luck and i hope you solve it the ppl here are always willing to help.

I have been getting the download not requested message for ages now, and need help desperately.

I have changed the settings in the Device Manage for my com ports, can anyone verify all the setting for the com port, I have tried several, but some say (in use) and does not recommend I use them or should I try them too?

Io have tried every set of instructions available for the KV box, and tried all downloads, none of which help.

I have the loader, instructions and have extracted the bin* file from the downloaded flash.

I hope there is someone here who can help.

                            Cheers
