just got a kryptview a780, help

to check you are on the latest firmware.

press "menu"

select "installation"

then "s/w update"

the box will now check you are on latest firmware and update if necessary....
i doubt this will help you with your missing channels though...
i would keep rescanning trying diffrent net ids until you get the correct one....

if he is getting all the channels, then yes, you should too.
what signal strength do you have, are you paying a basic sub?

does your cable feed go through any splitters before it connects to box?

i have one cable come through that goes to a splitter and from that splitter i have one cable going to the kryptview and one going to the router, if i take a way the splitter and run the one cable direct to my kryptview i will have nothing going to the router, hence no internet connection, so i would get nothing then, or am i missing something?

plug your box straight into the cable that comes in without the splitter and rescan....
forget the router for the moment you do NOT need internet connection to scan.
then connect it all up again....

ok i done this and just connected the one cable without internet and done a scan, i still dont get espn, sky sports etc.
