    Kryptview a780 information

    hello to all .
i was looking to get myself the Kryptview a780
but i need to know few things before purchase.
i know the box is for card sharing, but once the box is flashed with the appropriate
software, will that be done with the details connection to a server or i will have to look for a server where i can connect?
Do I need to get a official card ?
the reason is i am using a similar box the spiderbox but it is satellite box and when flashed the connection to the server is set.
I am a newbie and went through the post but do not see the answer i need
    many thanks

Once flashed it will auto connect to the server, you dont need to input anything.

      Hi
I got my one on tuesday
After I flashed the latest firmware and followed the demo video on utube on scanning the kryptviewfor channels everything worked ok so I assume it finds the server its self.
      Hope this helps

sorry posted the wrong info use this.
                  Digital Kaos - Downloads - Kryptview_A780_18062010.bin
you can software update on line to the latest file 09092010
it would be a good idea to update to latest file before scanning for channels
you can get a net id off vermin box which helps in the video

people have scanning problems because of wrong input, you need to know who provides your signal and alter if needed to scan on that network as scanning on wrong one wont get you
correct net id,sometimes people have a virgin box that would have a net id in it.
if you have a pc with xp and serial port its much easier to do.
usb adapters need drivers and vista may give problems.

when scanning for channels have box and tv connected scart and coaxial not lan, scan as per video and when channels are loaded remove sticker at rear plug in lan cable from router, switch off box at rear and router then power on both.
