ok here you are a little info for you

the 780 connects vis the virgin media feed ( white cable from the wall ) and an ethernet cable from your router or direct from you modem, you can also use home plugs to connect to the net but you must have both the cable feed and the ethernet cable for the 780 to work remove either and the box will not work
