what satsmo means is that telling people to s/w update, factory reset and rescan has been repeated ad infinitum, anyone that bothers reading any of the kv threads should know to do that by now.

and that doing the above isn't always the solution, sometimes people need to check other things, like are they using the correct net id for their area

immi there are quite a few channels on kv now but as of yet no movies but between kv and sv there seems to be all of them we just wait now for them both to fully up and running patience is a vertue

the days of plug and play are over when n3 came in. Now a days with cs there is alot more factors to consider. If they get pissed off then they should pay the amount for a full sub coz with cs you are gonna get down time.

Yes, but the type of CS that KV and SV offer is more likely to have a much more issues with downtime, over subscription etc etc..

Satelite is much better and more flexible route to CS, providing you dont buy a locked down pre-configured trader supplied box !

Bottom line is if you want a more flexible service the then you need to be in control of which services you can and cant connect to...

Satellite will never have the same amount of CS downtime as KV and SV, because if one server is crap or goes down...just connect to one of the other 100's,or 1000;s that there is available..

It only take a bit of reading and research to get your head around Softcams and provider lines...If your going to be "plug and play" freeloaders who want "free tv" with minimal effort, then topshotter is correct..stop moaning and pay subs,...what do you expect with an illegal service ??? That it should be 100% reliable...
