I've restarted the router, turned modem off, turned cable box off etc. and nothing comes on at all... is there anything else I can do? Will older version of firmware help or should i re-flash?

If your not even getting Free to Air channels
First thing i would do is ring your SP
Make sure theres no faults in your area

With the 232 cable .

trying now reloaded the latest firmware, it's searching for the channels now. is there anything inparticular i need to do or just make sure it's set to nagravision?Comment

ok if you have a starview it will not work but if you have a kv with lan surport then it should be working so put on firmware then fatory reset makes sure you pick right network ie telwest or ntl etc then make sure you are on network .go to green button and scan find your id click ok .if you dont no your id go to nearest to you and see what happens if you need more help let me no get you up and running in 5 minComment

most inporting thing is make sure all connection are good this will make a big diffrents to your viewing and reboot routerComment
