    Invalid Mac - Please help

Hi there, I just recieved my box and when I opened it, I saw a message saying 'invalid mac' and it has stayed there, and it doesn't move. I've done a scan of all the TV channels and it has picked them up and has signal but the it says scrambled or no video? :S

    Could someone please help?

    Kind regards,

Edit: Done a factory setting restore, only the fta channels work :S

Edit: Got a replacement box the same day when I contacted him, came dropped it off at my house and works perfect! thanks so much dcrecievers!

The op has been given the correct and best advice to contact his supplier as the fault "Invalid Mac" is a known fault that he will not be able to rectify.

As advised by Cactikid he should seek a replacement from his supplier.

Perhaps one of the respected moderators could make this thread a sticky and lock it to keep the board a little tidier.

Yes this box has to be sent back to supplier. I had one that did exactly the same thing. After flashing and reflashing I figured out that it was a fault in the ethernet port/ LAN port / communication side of things.
So I sent it back and got a replacement

Thats not what this particular fault relates to, but it certainly does need returning.

WILL the supplier take box back if the files are altered.or does he has to load the original files before sending the box back?

Any reputable supplier would take it back but cowboys prefer to keep their profits at any cost.
