scrambled or no video unwatchable quality?

oh right, the firmware must be already on then as when i first plugged it all in and set it up, it auto came onto the scan screen settings?

Just realised that there are channels in the colour GREY seem to be working... free view channel... other channels in the colour blue are not working... saying scrambled or no signal?? maybe this is the reason..??

effin brilliant, thanks for everyone trying to help, seemed to have sorted it now... maybe me being stupid here, but there are two different cable feeds at the back of the box... i had it in the first one all the time... then i decided to see if putting my cable into the feed at the bottom worked, then i scanned it all again, now the channels highlighted in blue are all working, no stupid fuzzy screen or anything, picture perfect. thank god, thank you

i didnt realise you had to keep the ethernet cable in took it out, nothing worked, put it in, worked again
