32 ports ? are you useing a usb to serial adaptor ? if so problem is you need win7 driver for it

no the back of the desktop mate could it be a problem with that ?
i tried to update drivers but it said they are all ok

a would just like to say a big thanks to everyone that helped ive hit the thanks button

got my new null cable and within 2 seconds the download started so anyone thats having a problem i do suggest a new null cable
