Hopefully a fix for the starview 1 is coming soon, I have a friends 'the box' which I'll 'do' tommorow. I think I'll keep a hold of that until the fix is available for ver1 Well Christmas is just around the corner and there is simply too much juicy viewing at this time of year

Oh come on please.. If anyone in your life loves you they'll... 1 take the starview off you and throw it in the bin... 2 buy you a nice new Kryptview.

Just think.... Starview = no support + bad 16:9 + moving frequencies and having to manually find them ( I.E Setanta ) + worst epg in the world + problem with clones ect' ect'

Xmas pressy Kryptview = Superb support + fastest firmware update fix and it didn't go down last April + great 16:9 + power scan mode ... + superb epg ( better than vm's ) + not cloned.

Even someone you don't like doesn't deserve a Starview...

            Regards.

Where are skywonder based? Can't seem to find their address on their site. Must've overlooked I think.

Anyway, will these boxes be able to handle Nagra 2/3? Or will only linux based boxes be supported for it?

Anyone know which linux based box will be future proof?

If the original VM boxes can handle Nagra 2 then these can.

No box, linux or windows is future proof.

The traders have had the firmware update for the Starview1 for a few days now they're charging ?25 to do it in my area.. The longer it takes for the image to become public the more the traders make...

These boxes are gonna go down again probably next April and you'll have to wait longer or pay more for a fix.... There will be less support for all Starview models in the future so why bother?

                            Regards.
