STARVIEW C113 HELP NEEDED

HI my starview is stuck on C113 when i boot it up, a red and green light is on and i have tried the menu fix
(press menu
Down once
right once
down twice
ok twive and up to several times)
but no joy help will be much appreciated thanks all

Just try to switch off and then switch on may it will works....

i have tried it i have done it loads of times, is there any loader for an rs232 port?

If people do not ask a question it is harder to get a reply.

The bootloader on the box is corrupt. I am sure your supplier would have the factory bin file and can repair it if under warranty.

And yes there is a loader that can repair it in case they say there is none !

hi, press the chl up botton and then power on, that will take it in test mode. use the remote the factory reset.

New Firmware - Showmustgoon v2.0
1. Switch box on wait for a few seconds until booting has finished.
2. Press MENU on remote

3. Press RIGHT ARROW BUTTON once
4. Press DOWN ARROW BUTTON twice
5. Press OK BUTTON twice

The box should reboot and the display should come back on.

DONT FORGET THE THANKS BUTTON

If all that failed you have nothing to lose go to Maplin and buy Electrical Solvent Cleaner it removes contaminants on box board spay it on the board and put the box cover back on, cross your fingers with a bit of luck it may be alright for you.

Hi dvdjn, you can not install loader or any software if your Star6-7 will not boot up when stuck on C113, if I were you just spray the board with E.S.C and keep trying on and off it will eventually boot up, let us know the outcome.
