if your date setting is wrong in left top corner it will be out,power off at back for a min then on might help,dont worry soon the epg will be fixed when nagra3 comes to you.=blank screen to everybody.some places are better than others,tv mag weekly does it for me.

sorry to say there have been no updates for that box for years,try a factory reset 0000,auto scan your provider,emu to on,and set default key should work as long as you are not in a nagra3 area.

i am the same - i cant get hold of a copy of the gtrom loader for my starview box 1.

also my laptop doesnt have a rs232 connection so was wondering if this was the right connection to use?
