i cant see it being free, it costs money to set these things up, but if someone is being flash with the cash, good on them, but when i see a ad etc saying free, there is always a catch

This man I know aint greedy like KIDDY..... So when he says it will be free it will be..... He use to work for VERMIN and is an I.T specialist now so I think he will know what he's doing (AGAIN IF THERES ANY TRUTH)

rubbish he will need at least 30 subs and will have to pay 1k per box to get rsa keys out of each hd box unless he can get some certain non hd boxes and who will give him source code from sv ?

m8 dont want to bust your bubble, but FREE is simply not feasible!
It costs a lot of money, time & effort to keep the system up and running & maintained and if at the end of the day the operator is not going to make a profit, then this will be short lived.

Am sure KIDDY also had all the best intentions of offering a free/cheap service, but how long can one keep digging into their own pockets?

But let your friend go for it & lets see how long it lasts...

Starview are in a mess....so what are the chances of KRYPTVIEW (only other available public cable server) stealing or taking all the SV customers? Im sure if the SV box was opensource then there would be NIL customers left or hanging around for kiddy.

Someone's been filling you with fibs Alex, although some info is correct but that has seemed to be the case with cable CS in the UK since it's inception.

Forums once were a place of some information, (understandable that some info is best kept off them also), but mis-information can be almost as bad.
