Problems flashing a "The Box Super"

Hello all & Experiencing problems updating Starview ? Super

Hi all I'm a newbie to cable having relied on multi-satellite for years and not even thinking that my cable from Te*epest was live for all these years!

Having recently purchased a Starview 3 Super, I cannot get into the secret menu. I have attempted flashing the box but keep getting a failed message after only achieving between 4 and 22%.

I have checked the model and can confirm that it is not a clone box - Can someone, anybody help me to get this corrected.

I am using XP on my old desk machine which also has the correct terminal settings and automatically chooses 11592 baud rate as all other options are greyed out.

I have tried using both GTRom 802.e and 709.eBeta

try using todays v8.04e gtrom loader flash , turning off any other processes running in xp , try enditall to turn off all other processes , and set the loader going before quickly switching on the box

Suratia,i had loads of trouble downloading the firmware from off here onto my box super but eventually done it,i just kept on trying different combinations until i got the right one which in my case was this-desktop pc,null crossover cable(off ebay) and a usb 2 adaptor from maplins,i only tried this adaptor because i couldnt get any other combinations to work and hey presto it worked,now i am all a bit new to this and i did find it all a bit frustrating but the people who post on here will get you sorted sooner or later so hang in there.

starview box 1

anyone help me flash a staview box i have tried the 1.5 cryptstar on another and it worked 1st time both boxes are the same but it will only let me put the keys in!!
