need help starview 2 the box

hi there, when i tried loading 8.02e firmware on the box does not accept been through the steps with 4.54e then flash logo file, had 10 boxes done 9 without ant problem just this one giving me grief and its not a clone, can someone help thanks.

4.55e was the last fixed firmware so should have been used on this one too , although v4.57 came out today so use that one instead with loader v4.03

8.02ee was a temorary fix until the newer 4.55 and now the 4.57 came out

If its starview 2 - turn switch off on the box...
Set up v4.55 or v4.57 in the v4.03 gtRom...
Switch the box back on and at the same time hit the download button of the gtRom loader...
Wait for it to fully download...
This should get your box up and running again.

if there is no power check the fuse in the plug and fit a 3 amp fuse that works

now see if there is any power when you flick the rear switch to on

if not , the receiver is faulty

no problem, i tried loading 8.02,went through all the steps with 4.54 then flash with logo file, i didnt select anything when i download 4.54 etc app file and the box numbers went up to 700, so i loaded 4.51 back up it came on but when i load 4.54 it goes blank or green light on like if its frozen, can u help thanks

load the 4.54 into the loader v4.3 and after selecting it check app file is ticked , then download this into the box

now restart the 4.03 loader ( do not use the v4 loader ) and select the logo file , and background data is the selection so make sure that is ticked , now start that download , when its all done turn it off and back on again , and check it boots to the language screen

once in the menu , factory reset and again reboot and check the 4.54 is showing in the api in the menu system info

once this is all ok , try 4.57 from today using the 4.3 loader again from scratch , and when it reboots do another factory reset before proceeding

only to be expected until you flash the logo file in and reboot and factory reset

turn it off , start the logo download and quickly tuen it on , after completion , turn off , wait , turn on again and test

its never going to work with v4.55 or v4.57 until you get v4.54e working ok

assuming its not a clone of course
