Hey was wondering if any one could tell me how to enable EMU on my ddigital duo? i have tried going to ulity and pressing 8989 but this isnt working..any ideas on how to turn it on?

new firmware released, dont have one of these, but read through starview threads you will find what your after, but expect to empty your pockets, not free anymore.
thinking if the kiddy can come on and sell cs, may do same in sat section, buy a couple of subs, come up with a fancy name like smgo, may call it shite, advertise it in sat section, oveload it, so its on and off and freezes like ~~~~, get enough cash to pay house off and do a runner. if its ok for one, everyone else can do it, hands up, who wants a shite cs server for sly. -

just seems like blatant ads from kiddy, dont really give to ~~~~s, its him that will get busted in the end, putting themselves right in the firing line from powers that be. i would keep my head down and keep it quiet.
just an observation, would not sell in the way they do it, and not crap like that, i like a easy life, rather than whos knocking my door, to arrest me, or try to give me a good kickinComment

Needs must in their case and as a result better to have somewhere that can offer some information to those that may find themselves having to use them.
As you can see we have a firing squad awaiting most threads, you are part of it
Joking aside, we allow this to the extent of letting people make up their own informed decisions. Those decisions can only be made after reading across numerous forums, not just here.
Unfortunately a lot of peeps across the forums have ulterior motives on both sides of the coin but most read through them. The ethical part of the argument is just that, based on morals regards pay for it or not. When in essence there was never such a thing of free TV, (maybe cheaper if shared in the correct manner).
The fact that Starview, (No such thing), decided to make a few quid and went with this model is not based on the manufactures' decision but has been enforced upon the distributors, (what would you do with X amount of boxes if you couldn't sell them)?
It's not an excuse it's a business model, the Sales Lad needs a bit of polishing though or he will be getting the bullet.
For all intensive purposes, people have three options pay for it, don't pay for it or bin it. Each person I am sure are aware of this as they have bought these boxes for no other reason, (very small minority did without realising) and as such are well aware that it is always a gamble.
I can bet there were quite a few peeps who picked up some good bargains on fleabay, gumtree, etc. etc.
I have an opinion on this business model but I have posted quite a few times on it and people just make up their own minds. I am happy with that, some others aren't
