All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate 2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about, 3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives
If you do a little research you will see it's working quite well, much better than the other Plug&Play Cable option.
Yes, Satellite is better, has more channels and more servers available but they are more expensive and not everyone can have a dish.
working quite well, where????????? come round my house, and mi mums, and mi dads, and mi sons, and mi daughters and countless friends and i will show a box that is still in 'subscription' and is either not working, or working so badly its almost unwatchable. freezing, going off, scrambled blah blah blah.
no idea of what channels to show on what day and at what time, its almost like it has alzheimers..........thats it. change the name to the Alzheimers 7. cos it can never remember which channel or if it should be in or out of subscription!!!!!
do a little research and see how many disillusioned, unhappy, disatisfied SV customers there are, and how many boxes are not working.
he wont mick.. he a mod over at sv forum biased u see

Aha, that explains alot.
i have stood up for sv in the past, but im sick of it all now. caused problems with my friends and family who bought SV7 boxes on my say so, cos i was suckered in.
To be fair I must be a lucky cooker because I've not really had many problems a few mates that have them seem happy.2 off the boxes I've added the support and ok the third runs out next month. I did have a few problems getting a good virmin signal in, but a mate updated me on the big box down the road and that sorted it sorry you have had problems go on the starview web site and have a rant at them you never know you might get help cheers

I am a mod on several forums and resent the suggestion that I am biased, in fact I consider that post to be libelous.
I have seen several Starview boxes working well and never seen one with all this bad glitching that some describe. If you look at posts from neutral posters and actual SV users, they comment on how well it's working.
I am also amazed at just how many people that slate SV and when it's pointed out that premium Sat servers are more expensive than SV, claim to be on a "Free" Satellite server.
well IF i had a store selling boxes, and people were listening to advice on sites like dk and not buying a certain box that i sell, i would have a backup of said boxes that werent selling would i not?
and IF i had said shop, then it would be in my interest to big these boxes up would it not?
of course all the above is purely circumstancial

i am an actual unbiased, neutral SV7 user, and so are my friends and family.
my box has NEVER put a straight 10 stint in without having one problem or another. as for friends and family, i cannot put a timescale on theirs, but from the grief i get i can tell you they are shite.
pick any one particular day, and at least 1/4 of the channels will not work, others will be glitchy as ~~~~, and when the footy etc is on its obvious that they cannot cope with the demand.
Yes, I sell Satellite boxes - so I have absolutely nothing to gain from pushing or exaggerating Starview or other cable boxes.
I have checked a box today and the server is working well, there is not 100% channel coverage (currently around 90% are on) but the channels that are on are rock solid and not glitching. If you are getting Glitching, I suggest that you check your signal quality.
Starview 7 @ ?97.50 - Single tuner cable TV Receiver, with LAN adapter. Free Drop-Shipping from Supplier
now IF i had a shop like that.. i would probably be bigging up the above receiver...
