Starview 7 - ongoing 'Not Connected' issue

I have the latest FW 2.21 SMGO, I scan the channels, all fine then '1819' and channels all appear, watch sports, movies etc without problem however, I can then come back in couple of days to watch sport again to see a freezed pic (if still on sport) or a black screen and 'Not Connected' even though it is as I am able to connect PS3 online (using devolo plugs), all I am left with is normal channels until I do a rescan when they all come back again.

Sometimes I can go through the rescan procedure 3 times a week or go for couple of weeks.

I leave the box on permanently and internet constant connection

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers

maybe network rebooting is needed,is the starview put into standby or left on a channel?

Just left on a channel, weird though as all other devices connected to the router are always connected.

try for a change to power off with remote as it will go into standby,if it goes again reboot your network first to see if channels come back.

is your box brand new or old as starview boxes are now a payview box needing a sub to view, are you getting a message onscreen as in box not registered?

                      not connected!

Would it be easier to just pay for the support?

support will only work if the box has the correct firmware installed, has a live cable feed and lan cable, outside problems like area upgrades/breakdowns cause problems and you need to sub to open the channels you have scanned in.
