    SV2 no channels found..?

got a box to flash from a friend it just says the box on the top left hand corner so i take it its a starview 2, got the loader and new fix from the downloads section, flashed the box it came up flashed sucessfully, i done an automatic scan for my area came up as no channels found, when i go to any channel it says scrambled or bad channel then it changes to no signal, i set the default key and turn on key emu and it still does the same.
    any suggestions...??
    thanks oz

do a factory default m8 then set default key and emu to on then rescan it.once the scan has finished leave on sly sports 1 to update.

yeah tried all that, still the same and the box only has 1 coax input unlike the SV1 so its in the right place, just reflashed it and still the same....

it just says the box in the corner im on ntl cable, dont no if the owner is on mmds, but i flashed it with SV2 fix for cable and scanned my area so id imagine it should work for me in my area now.

ok was talking to another chap who does boxs in my area, if the box was mmds there would be an option to turn on a power supply through the coax out socket to power the arial and this function is not on this box so i can definitely say its a cable box.
