I downloaded this and now I dont have any movie channels or sports channels. Anyone know why?

Hi can you help I've upgraded the firmware for my ST4 box from 1.05 to 1.09. I have now lost 50% of my original channels such as BBC RTE and all Music. What have I done wrong??? should I revert back to 1.05??

You've done nothing wrong mate. theyve changed encryption method.

Nagra2 was the 2nd generation encryption that service providers such as NTL use to code their signals. It would now appear that these providers are implementing the next generation Nagra3 This encryption is new and will take sometime to crack. I read somewhere that we may have to wait until 2010 before the codes are available. From now until then you will lose your stations one by one as they are updated to the new Nagra3, By June we'll have a complete blackout. This is going to be a tough nut to crack

Yes but you should still have the channels you are missing, as you said BBC and RTE, they are N1 at the moment.

You need to carry out a factory reset, turn keycode back on and then scan again. 1802 stream is present but not in use just yet in Ireland.

I did a factory reset and started the install from scratch it's now working as before managed to install the V1.09

thats because you cant get ppv with these boxes, movies that is. you can get boxing when its on and wrestling(ugh) i think.

Try scanning again and then try the other tv-ch channels. Sometimes they mess with the tp's. Just a footnote.... You don't always get box office movies, Although I have been getting a few of late.

now and again you get a freebie, but its not ppv,its what vermin put out.if someone in your area pays for a film, it may come on your box. boxing only comes on a few hrs before the fight so dont worry....ynwa.
