Starview 4

Hi Gents.
Great site, Been on here a short while whilst deciding what box to get so I bought a Starview4 Super Box usb. downloaded the latest 1.07 upgrade etc into the box & followed the instructions to the tee,

I can get the normal NTL channels etc but nowt else..
Where have I gone wrong ???

I have been reading this site for a few hours trying to get my head around it, I can normally manage things like this but the box nearly went out the window with the wife

Any help greatly appreciated

Do a fec reset on box m8 then set default then set keycode to on then autoscan ,should be ok then if you are in the uk.

iam in south dublin and have digivox and the box super4 and on ntl as iam writing this , all the channels are gone so how do i get code to put the channel back

Try scanning on a different provider like telewest instead of ntl, We're in an ntl area but scanning on ntl didn't work for whatever reason but when we scanned on tw it worked. Worth a try m8.

I just set up on of these with no probs, what else were you expecting?
do you mean you are only getting fta channels?

Have you definately got v1.07 f/w properly installed?

Press menu, system setup, system info and check s/w version, should say 1.07.

Can you access the cas menu?

Yes I downloaded it earlier from the above DL Link (look at my download record and I think they were all done today)

Checked the system set up and it does say 1.07

You should be able to view the $ channels. Have you set your keycode to on as camelv said? Go to menu and key in 1570 this will bring up the secret menu where you can set the keycode to on.
You tried that mate? If you have done all this then try turning the box off and then flicking the main power switch off at the back for a few seconds and then back on again and see if you can view them then.

Yes done all the above, the only thing I havent done is switch off on the back of the box, I will give it a try..
I'm having a mare with this one.. been at it since 10.30 this morning
