Just set up Starview 4, Can't Get A Thing - HELP

Guyz,

I purchased a starview 4 box recently. Last night i tried to get it going;

I uploaded firmware v1.09 and the logo file.
I turned on Keycode.
I took scart and cable leads from ch***s box and put into the back of the starview 4 box.

I then tried scanning on all providers, but I couldnt get a thing! Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
Can i try to scan manually?

I'm based in Ireland, so is it even pointless at this stage?

Can anyone help?

well have heard boxes r goin down in ireland changed from nag 3 to nag 4 i thinks so u may be unlucky altho i would have thought u would still have got the free view channels ..so might be a problem with the flash ....go to menu ..goto system set up goto system set up and it shud tell u wat firmware u have flashed to ur box

Originally it had firmware v1.07 but I loaded firmware v1.09.

Will I switch it back to v1.07? do you think that will do any good?

make sure all ur leads r in

no coz V1.07 is uk m8

V1.09 is ireland

I took the cable lead and put it into back of SV4, and also the scart lead.

I have keycode "on"...anything else you guys can think of?

bigfella u are jumping the gun ,boxes are going from 1-2 and maybe 3 dont know where 4 has come from,and usb in ireland no fix.

well i did say,,, i thinks,,,,the important bit was the nag encription was changing ..any other nick pickin ????
