    need help please

    hi i have astarview 4 box which i bought off a friend he said there is away to repair but he is not sur ehow i have posted many ptopics i came across 8882 error so i thougth ok then i bought a max 232 INTERFACE OFF EBAY iv plugged it up and it wont seem to download but my box is not showing 8882 error its more random stuff such as 8888 or ffff or 0000 or some times jkust half of each number any ideas on what i can do please thanks

    IF YOU HAVE A STARVIEW 4 THEN YOU SHOULD BE PUTTING THE FIRMWARE ON BY USB WHICH YOU GOT WIYH YOUR BOX

      hey m8 i see u used your e-mail as a user name not a very good idea m8, if u want it changing pm admin which is devilfish.

        only one problem now is, he has changed his addy to remove EMail address but it is still there in your quote box

            Once you have the sv4 up and running again you will just flash the box using the USB port.

            hi i have one of those serial cables you linkled me to it came with the starview box i origanlly had but the ends of it are the same as the ends of the jtag i got
