please help me i have a starview 2 and i cant update the box im using usb to null modem cable i am using loader 4.03 and update 4.57 it keeps aying upate failed on loader. i have alos tried turning box off at switch on back clicking download then switching box on this still does nothing any suggestions please as im in a real pickle

it says invalid link mate. i have just put the lead in a different usb port turned box on from switch on back then clicked download it started downloading got to 100% then said flash update failed . is the box knackered ?Comment

no m8 your box is ok try putting v4.54 but use gtrom 4.03. then logo file as background data. then use v4.57 and loaer 4.03.Comment

made myself a member downloaded files just putting 4.54 on it now with gtrom 4.03 the box is showin igreen bar moving across as its putting the image onComment

not even downloading image now. im clicking download then switching box on from switch on back then green bar goes across then nothin happensComment

ok m8 press down load then wait for a couple of seconds then switch box on from the back it might take a couple of tries but has been known to workComment

thats what i have just been doin pal. i went to 100% and green bar was going across on display whilst it was downloading. it got to 100% then it said flash update failed its not ggodComment

sometimes it does say failed but if you leave it a couple of minutes it completes OK
otherwise try changing your com port you can try ports 1 to 4 and see if you have any luckComment
