starview 2 update failed jelp please

right i have soldered jtag onto baord that i have made from this link JTAG | i solderde them onto the board with this page JTAG'ing a Starview 2 - Techno-Source i still have my gnd left . is this the same as vcc? as i dont want to power up box or try anything without this spare wire not connected to anything

the pic you sent is a starview 1. i have a starview 2 the box the solder points are different mate

Hello have the box super had a while and flashed twice no problems, however I had lost some channels so did a rescan but now I can't get any $ channels. When I finish installing and put it on a certain$ channel it just says bad and does not even try and run the updating channels thing it should do? any ideas?

once you scaned ya channels u ned 2 go 2 MENU type in 1570 on remote

Should take u 2 nagravation.......make sure key EMU is ON then SET DEFAULT KEY

exit out put it on a pay channel and wait 4 it 2 update

got my jtag soldered to my box and i have skymax 2.2 and i have the tsop file for my box gonna give it a go tonight on me dads computer ill keep you updated and ill upload the tsop file for starview 2 the box if it all works.

its got to 100% now then said failed ill leave it for a a bit then matey see if it works. im using null modem cable now from serial on back of pc. there is no percentage on stview 2 just green line moving across when its downloading image. the green line is moving a lot faster than when i was tryin with the usb to serial lead. thank you for your reply . i will not be defeated

Does it just have a zero 0 on the display. If so I have recovered a sv2 after a bad flash

no mate it has 1 green line it goes across 1 2 3 4 then stays on forth one and always sayd flash burn failed everytime i try to force firmware update

got jtag on box connected to computer and therte is a ticking noise and skymax keeps saying fail dcu ? any suggestions ?

i sorted the problem i put the box on top of the wheelie bin and hit it half way down the garden with a baseball bat in future ill buy things new. thanks to everyone for there quick replies and information

got an email of the guy i bought it from he said i tried to update the box with
latest firmware 802E. this is for starview 3 so could this have bricked the box ?

Am Flashing the SV2 with loader 4.03 and

is the above quoted - the latest for sv2? where can we all get this file ?

ppl say - it's for sv3 but it will work on sv2, or if you use on sv2 it will brick the box....brake it...you mean....?
