Starview 3 Box Super

i had the 8.02 on the box now i've put the the 8.04 on it and it wont scan it will go up2 100% with no channels found i put the 8.02 back on it and it does the same i took it round my mates house (who has a working box) and it done the same .I'm stuck can any1 Please Help

have you got the cable feed into the correct socket
are you scanning on the correct cable provider
is your mates a starview box, if so you could put his channel file on yours

my mates is the same it was working before i changed to 8.04 i also tryed to put keys in manually but just wouldn't pick anything up how would i transfer the channel file .Thanks

you should be able to pick channels up if you are scanning on correct provider.
To get channel file you would have to upload his channel file to a PC and then download it to your box

EDIT : is your mate in the same area as you as the channel files are specific to the area your in
