Can anyone please help, i have just tried re-installing firmware v1.10 on my box it was previously working fine but i wanted to re scan all the channels. when i was installing firmware it completely froze and it never did anything for about an hour so i turned off the box, now when i turn it off and on again four 8's appear on the display then followed by 8882. nothing appears on my tv screen. is there anything i can do or has it just died? i have only had my box for about 3 weeks and not had any problems with setting it up or using it until now, any advice would be greatful especially if its good news!!
is my starview4 the box super usb dead?

it shouldn't be, i had to put my own firmware on it straight out of the box was only giving me FTA channels and it was working fine until i started trying to update channels! it previously had 1.07 which was ok then 1.10 which was great, until i updated channel list an i needed to re-install firmware. i take it its dead then?Comment
