is my starview4 the box super usb dead?

Can anyone please help, i have just tried re-installing firmware v1.10 on my box it was previously working fine but i wanted to re scan all the channels. when i was installing firmware it completely froze and it never did anything for about an hour so i turned off the box, now when i turn it off and on again four 8's appear on the display then followed by 8882. nothing appears on my tv screen. is there anything i can do or has it just died? i have only had my box for about 3 weeks and not had any problems with setting it up or using it until now, any advice would be greatful especially if its good news!!

it shouldn't be, i had to put my own firmware on it straight out of the box was only giving me FTA channels and it was working fine until i started trying to update channels! it previously had 1.07 which was ok then 1.10 which was great, until i updated channel list an i needed to re-install firmware. i take it its dead then?

thats the thing i cant, nothing is being sent to my tv, the only thing i have got to go on is the display on the box itself an all that is showing is 8882. an i have checked all the connections. trouble is it froze at 10% of firmware installation an had to turn it of as was doin nothing for over sn hour i think thats what has caused it but there was nothing i could do

Guide to flashing when starview/usb displays 8882 message.
8882 displayed on your starview lcd panel means that the power to the usb interface has been disrupted

needed jtag m8 , u will have to look on ebay m8 ,, bad flash

yes sv4 is bad for the 8882 problem with usb,do not insert or remove usb while box is powered on,all in the tuts people are supposed to read.
