Just got sv5, would anyone know the latest firmware for this? The default s/w version is 2.04. Bit confused.

elo and happy newyear 2 all... i just got The Box USB 2 had a friend try and advise me how to set up but no good maybe it's cos i'm new to all this ... or ( as i can see from reading above ) maybe it was the wrong file cos the file i was given had a big 4 logo on it ...... ps... what TUT mean as typed in some of the posted reply above ... thanks for reading my first post.... ....

I`m a newbee to all this stuff, im waiting on my starview 5 box, i`ve got the firmware on a usb stick, do i need to put the box back to factory settings before installing the new firmware or should that already be done?

same problem - starview 5 firmware

Have you selected the correct service provider? if so try a scan on a different provider, I take it you have followed the tut by DESSERTDOG and make sure you have a direct feed ie; no splitters

does the boxes still work although its connected to the splitter cause i have the broadband connected aswell

I have received my USb II today as addition to my original silver box. I had a nightmare turning channels.
