starview 5 newbie

    just the job did a little searching and this is the trick i needed

    bought the Starview 5 USB today from Wizard in hinckley - great service i may add

    downloaded bin file above no problem on to usb plug in back updated firmware - box switches on off etc

    then entered secret code and entered info from the toolbar

    bingo bango all setup working a treat

    routed a new cable from my bedroom 20mtr thought loft to the splitter and we have full tv in both rooms

    cheers for the info - your all gods

          hi i have same problem got the sv5 and tried uploading and says doing it but never gets off the ground 0% takes ages and freezes
          can anyone help i have done the fat32 format and put the latest version on memory still help please......

            I assume that you are using the Sv5 firmware not the Sv4?
