Data Is Being Updated - Starview4

Whenever the starview is turned off for a long period of time then swithced back on the message ''date is being updated'' appears, first it appeared on the skysports channels now it seems to have moved to the box office channels, it appears for a minute or so then everything is back to normal again, it would be brilliant if anyone had any info on this

Dude I think that means that the keys have changed since you last switched on and now they are being updated to unlock the channels you mention.

I am no expert but that is my understanding!

This will happen everytime the keys are rolled, basically it means your box is working fine, it will only happen once on a pay channel and then all will be ok

the same happend to me on saturday i did a factory reset then scan for new channels then pressed menu 1570 and all worked fine

if you have other $ channels try deleteing ssp1 then rescan it should come back, if not factory reset then auto scan,

rescan your box and remember to turn key code on....
