i hade same prob with ma starview 4 go to tailor made curciuts and by a max232 8882 fixer for ?15

hi scarface i sent you a message,i live in coulby, i know how to flash the starview 4,but the starview 5 will not flash because the loader will not load the bin file onto the box,i have the max232 kit,but having no joy

Does a loader exist for the starview 5 as I've just gone and bought the max232 kit to fix the 8882 error ... but it doesn't load the file onto the box ....... some idiot told me it would do it just fine

theres cable receivers site for starview 4 box problems where u can buy the software and tool to fix the 8882 error urself it costs ?12.50
