Starview HD Combo

i have recently purchased starview combo+ . installed firmware and working fine on cable(after following steps on here. having probs with the SATELLITE side though. Installed the channels but only viewing FTA channels. anything i am missing. What is cccam? do i do anything on that front. PLEASE HELP. Anyone with the follow on steps to get it working.

dont think you will get sky premium channels mate...you need to pay for those via a pay server..

Hi guys, will this HD box allow you to put a subscription card in to emulate a paid box, I am trying all sorts to get rid of my cyfra box, this HD Combo is much nicer. No idea how to emulate to accept cyfra card?? thanks

I ave bought a starview hd combo +lan , and i would like to know what firmware to use beacuse my friends got 1 and its great as v.m went offf on his side . BTW after flashing the box would you get a*l the ch**nles?
any advice would be helpfull.

has the box been flashed before carling...if not i would flash the grooverider/bootloader etc first,then carling,but not knowing that box its only a guess mate goodluck

hi all. iv got cable side on my hd combo working but cs on pay chans freeze. its all over net that the box is no good for sat, but i got this box for cable and as we all know cable is no more.

has any 1 got sat side working well or is every one having the issue im having? iv tryd all images on the box but im hoping some 1 has an idea im missing,

if no fix i will get a new box but id like to get this working if any one can help

iam useing this Carling+_F531_1207.UAD and works for me but cs on pay chans freeze try another test line

hi thans for your reply iv got that image on at the mo. and still freezing. more so on hd chans. i have 10mb internet speed so i dont think that is an issue also my dish is correct.
alot of people are saying its the box. was perfect on cable.
been told the cccam on box has bugs.

hi mate try the guiness 521 f/w its very stable if your gettin a lot of freezing nd glitchin its gotta good chance to be your cline server provider,i use 521 and its no bother !! these boxes prefer the newcamb(nline) thats been my experiience anyway and thats what iam using now its very stable but i also have a good server

yeh tryed all that. many a server. my friend had dm800 and works fine from same server. think il just get 1 of them and sell this as a free to air reciver on e bay, the starview have bad press about this prob on sat and i give up.
