Starview HD Combo LAN & NON LAN STBs

i have the same problem, i live in the west midlands.
my sv4 works well once i uploaded the latest firmware but my combo non lan only lets me find 2 channels i have followed the instructions to the letter but no joy, any help greatly appriciated. is there any way of reseting the bost completely as if brand new? factory reset dosn't remove the firmware is there any way to do this?

when searchingin the cable auto sccan i changed the frequancy start to 001, then the frequancy end to 999 and found all of the channels,

I am upgrading the firmware on the HD Combo serial as it seems to have lost all channels, unless the brotherinlaw has done something and is not telling. So I just follow the instructions on the first page of this topic ?

I had this working a week ago, most chnls gone off now. Suspect we just wait for the new fix that involves use of your LAN grabbing updated info from some server somewhere. I'm waiting and searching once a day for the new fix.

chanels signal lost

Over the last few days I have been losing channels of my HD combo, is this something to do with the implementation of Nagravision 3 and what can we do about it

u cant do anythink about it at the moment and may never be able to get a dish and use the sat side when its all gone

and it wnt blank 2 weeks ago and the guy who sold me goes that the hd combo is the nxt thing

what sat are you pointing at, you will need to get yourself a server to get what you want, google premium cccam. you do have dish, dont you?

i just got this hd combo + today i came on this site to see how to get it working then i saw satsmo link for the starview hd combo Lan thing
and wen i tried the instruction i still got nothin just a blank screen which sez scrambled channel
and im tryin to find out if other ppl have got theres working ???

if your area has gone nag3..then you have been sold a expensive door stop mate, you will still need a sattelite dish installed to view sky channels. Once you have the dish installed you will only recieve the FTA channels. To get the premium channels you need to pay for them via the option mentioned in one of the above posts...you could also have a motorised dish installed instaed of a fixed dish, this will allow you to position the dish to view other streams from different sattelites. For the uk you only need a standard sky fixed dish that will pick up astra sat....like i said if you have gone n3 then first things first set up your sky dish...then come back for further help..good luck mate..
