hi i have a hd combo lan up and working.
the problem im having is if i have tv on for a long time my internet conection goes from 10 meg to 1 meg.
iv been told this happens if you download movie and also music for a long time.
my question is dose the starview hd combo make vir think you downloading music and movies when conected to the server?
dose any one elese have this problem?

sorry to bother you here. I have a starview combo which is down by n3. Can I possible use it for cs and how. Alternatively, what other use can I put it. I am a nov with sat issues. Pls help.

I'd just like to thank everyone on here for all the great info & stuff. I think n3 hit Blackpool this week, reports of lots of channels disappearing I've been hearing! Reset & rescan routine didn't work this time! Got my combo+ back up and running again no prob with cs thanks to you guys. Keep up the good work!

Hi Guys, thnxs for all the hints and tips! just got given a Starview HD Combo + LAN. Just managed to update Carling+_0712. Tried flashing GrooveRider to the box, but wont get pass 20%. So anyways, reflashed box and did a fresh rescan which found all channels. Left on S*ysports 1, stays on Scrambled Chann*l. All channels having a $ next to them, cannot view. What am i doing wrong! :S Any help/hints would be welcomed. Just came off dbox2, so little new to the starview side. Cheers

Ive too updated with Carling 0712 is this the lastest file as I have no channels at all

it apears they have gone and done it at last blocked the f.......g lot well done sky.
but surely we could build up a law suit against sky simply for blocking the free view channels rendering the star view box useless.
afterall we only purchased the box as a free view box may be worth looking into.
