Starview HD Combo LAN & NON LAN STBs

Does anyone know how to set up the satellite side of the of the starview hd combo+ with lan port? I v a sky dish but can't seem to connect or receive nothing. Pls urgent help.

hi , i have a starview hd combo +lan and i have reloded firmware HD300N_SC_RS232_1013.bin back on to it but when i try to load latest Carling onto it, it wont go past 20% and asks me to check usb .

so i did and i changed usb pen drive and the same happens... can anybody help me get past this problem .... i need tv

make sure the stick is fat32 or it will fail at 20%

After updating my new starview HD combo + Lan, with the software Boot_V0021.UBT, the box will not load anymore . It only shows a red and a green light on the front panel.


Have tried many times to reload the software sometimes it goes to 1% and gets stuck or other times it will just sit at 0%.

Any suggestions to revive the box would be much appreciated.

That is a bootloader only, you now need to flash firmware.

I'm planning to buy this box. But according to spcs, it says recorded programs watch on PC. Does this mean the player cannot play them?
I believe I can connect usb hard disk and record program into that? Do I need external power supply for hard disk or usb power is enough?

You should be able to record any prog on hdd & watch it thru
Combo hdd will not need ext power supply unless hdd you use
is designed for use with it's own power supply
