Some of my channels went down today, I followed the instructions above (master reset) and now everything works fine.

ok im new boys and girls
very new so be nice

just been given a starview 4 usb 2
plugged it all in and done what i was told i.e

English
ntl scan
it found about 20 channels but mainly ~~~~ ones
i then tried to enter the secret menu with 1570
but it wouldnt let me just doesnt do anything
now i was told i need to download some software from here but im not sure what to download or where to get it.
system details are

model c531
s/w - 2.04mp
boot - b-21
date - oct 21 2009

please someone point me in the right direction

if you found ~~~~, you have got s/ware on. try factory reset etc. also try different provider/s... btw.. where are you???

While moving things from one room to another,I just kept my box with all the wiring down and suddenly it emitted a smell and its now not working at all.
Any suggestions anyone...please?

Cheers resetting the factory settings restored all my channels, happy days once again every1!
