Teesside channel file for STarview The Box

latest channel file after changes 22/02/10 done on a Starview2 (The Box)
the file is not sorted apart from being in alphabetical order

lost all channels on my the box super just did a rescan now all the channels are all over the shop with different channel numbers but still got all the channels teesside area

If you factory reset then scan with no splitters they should come back as normal.

I can not get access to this dump, can you please tell me how I can get it?

I have the box (starview 2) and have factory reset it to no avail,it only finds tv9 type channels and nowt else.

I take it i need to get this file to the box but have no clue how too !

first off make sure when you scan you scan on the NTL cable network
menu/installation/ok/cable network NTL/automatic scan

if you need to put above file to your box then you do it using the gtrom v4.03 loader

Looking at the comm port on the back of the box,my new pc hasnt the same connection.

you will need a null modem cable and usb to rs232 adaptor I think your best bet will be to do the factory default reset and rescan

I have tried factory reset/system/parental/i 2007/emu -on/exit/full auto scan on NTL and all i recieve is tv 6 type channels that are either scrambled or blank,i dont own a serial to usb cabl so have ordered one and then will try to update it .

Seeing as others are still recieving channels in my area i can only hope its this file i need.

will let you no when i get around to doing it

was this box unscrambling channels previously
what does it say in system information

the method you used to get into emu screen is for the starview pvr unless you meant Info 2004
easiest way to get into the cas screen is Menu/1570
when you turn emu on also set default key before exiting out.

t channels is a signal issue,factory reset coaxial from box to wall,auto scan your provider and set default key and emu to on.

At work now guys so dont no what info it says..will check...regarding the type of model i have,,it says pvr the box on the front and looking at your forum a post describes this as being a sv2,and how i described entering the menu is all it will accept (i 2007),have always had to change the codes whenever it was scrambled before but as they seem to have not changed for a while this is the first hiccup i have had.

you have a Starview pvr (not a Starview 2)
as far as I'm aware the latest firmware for that box was december 2008

Well i have rescanned it anyway from the live feed with emu and other one on and get nothing now........ to the old tv remote i go

btw, what do you mean by "to the old tv remote i go"????
